Dear NOBLE Members,

I hope this message finds you well. It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I introduce myself to you as the Chairman of the NOBLE Fundraising Gala Committee. I am honored to serve in this role and to work alongside such a dedicated group of professionals who share a commitment to enhancing the representation and effectiveness of Black law enforcement executives across the nation.

I would like to take this opportunity to formally announce our upcoming Alabama Chapter of NOBLE 2026 Scholarship Gala, which will take place on January 17, 2026, at the Jackson Center, 6001 Moquin Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35806. This event promises to be an extraordinary evening, bringing together leaders in law enforcement, business, and the community to support the critical work that NOBLE continues to do in advancing justice, equity, and inclusion in law enforcement.

I am also thrilled to share some exciting news—our fundraising efforts are already off to a strong start! We have secured our very first sponsor, and a generous contribution of $1,000 has already been deposited into the NOBLE account. This early show of support is a powerful testament to the belief in our mission and the impact of our collective efforts. Let this serve as fuel to propel us forward as we work to ensure the success of this important event.

Together, we will make this gala not only a memorable occasion, but a meaningful one that directly supports the next generation of leaders in law enforcement.

The Gala serves as a vital fundraiser for our programs, scholarships, and advocacy efforts, and I encourage each of you to get involved in making this event a success. There are numerous ways for you to participate:

  1. Seek Sponsors – Please consider reaching out to potential sponsors within your network. This event presents a great opportunity for organizations to show their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  2. Sell Tickets – Encourage your colleagues, friends, and community members to attend. Every ticket purchased helps fund NOBLE’s mission.
  3. Advertise in the Program Booklet – This is a great opportunity for businesses and organizations to showcase their support for NOBLE and the work we do. Please assist us in securing advertisements for our event program. We are asking that all individuals that submit ads do so in a pdf file.
  4. Purchase or Secure a Sponsored Table – We kindly ask each member to personally purchase a table or seek out a sponsor for your table. This will help ensure a strong presence at the Gala while also supporting our fundraising goals.
  5. Secure Silent Auction Items – We are seeking high-quality items and experiences to feature in our silent auction. Please reach out to businesses, restaurants, or contacts in your network who may be willing to donate goods, services, or gift certificates. All proceeds will support NOBLE’s ongoing mission and initiatives.
  6. We are inviting all members to submit a theme for this year’s Gala! The theme should reflect NOBLE’s mission and the spirit of celebration, unity, and progress. If you have a creative idea that captures the essence of our work and the significance of this event, we want to hear from you.

Please email your proposed theme to the Gala Committee Chair jrbulluck@yahoo.com to be voted on by the committee at a later time.  Your input is valued and appreciated—we look forward to seeing your ideas!

We will only have 5 honorees to be recognized at the 2026 gala.  Representative Laura Hall will be one of the honorees.  One honoree is selected out of the Tennessee chapter.  The committee will select three additional honorees, who will be announced to the membership at a later date.

Attached are documents with additional details and materials to help with these efforts.  The documents are editable to be able to customize to reflect the appropriate information.  I ask that you please take a moment to review them and consider how you can contribute to the success of our Gala. Your support, whether through sponsorship, ticket sales, silent auction items or program ads, will make a lasting impact on our organization and the communities we serve.

We will schedule an in-person or zoom meeting at a later date.  The major items in setting up the gala have been confirmed and we will meet to review the needs that to further advance the success of the gala.

Thank you in advance for your commitment to NOBLE and for your dedication to making this event a success. I look forward to working closely with all of you to ensure that the Alabama Chapter of NOBLE 2026 Scholarship Gala is an unforgettable evening that furthers our shared mission of excellence in law enforcement.

Should you have any questions or need assistance with outreach efforts, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. Together, we can make a difference.

Warm regards,
